Company Phantom 8 Studio has published a release trailer for its project Past Cure, which tells about a soldier who fell victim to terrible experiments. Meanwhile, critics presented their game ratings, which simply horrified the players.
As reported, the first estimates of the new game Past Cure were so depressingly low that they seriously frightened gamers. Currently, the average score of the game is only 3.6 out of 10 based on the first 8 reviews, most of which are extremely negative. Apparently, a small team of developers did not cope with the ambitious idea, and could not make the project truly high-quality.
List of ratings of the critics of the Past Cure game:
- COGconnected - 6 out of 10
- Gamerheadquarters - 5.7 out of 10
- PlayStation LifeStyle - 5.5 out of 10
- TrustedReviews - 3 out of 10
- GamingBolt - 3 of 10
- DualShockers - 2 out of 10
- MonsterVine - 2 out of 10
- We Got This Covered - 2 of 10
In their reviews journalists noted that the game Past Cure turned out to be unbearably boring, predictable and not inventive. Some critics wrote that they struggled to get at least some pleasure from the project. Criticism was subjected to both a meaningless plot, and the primitive gameplay of the new project. In addition, the whole game looks very raw and untidy because of the small number of employees. The only positive moment was the intriguing beginning of the game, in which they combined an interesting story narrative and unexpected moments from horror.
