The genre of survival simulators not only does not die, but also continues to develop. Meet Raft, a small project of students from the University of Uppsala (Sweden), which managed to grow up to release on Steam.
I really liked Internet users idea to throw a player on a raft in the middle of the boundless ocean. So much that the number of downloads of the original exceeded several million.
It's understandable: who else, except the Scandinavians, could create the perfect game about a sea trip on a raft? True, the recognized connoisseur of primitive means of transportation, Tour Heyerdahl, comes from Norway, but also the Swedes have a rich sailor's past.
Often, such situations turn into Friv 2 heroic adventures from the company of the demigod and the chicken. Sometimes death from dehydration or heat stroke on a piece of garbage.
But in Raft, Kizi players will have to survive in the relatively warm waters of some tropical pond, fight sharks, explore reefs and islands, and most importantly: to dig out any debris from the water to expand the raft to the size of a floating fortress, as is customary in modern survivors. Yeah, and still looking for drawings.
Depending on the desires and mood of the players, they can sadly vegetate alone, and they can invite a victim to the cooperative to push the unfortunate into the water, expose them to predators and create other torments for the unwitting comrade.
From other games with a similar theme, like Subnautica or Stranded Deep, Raft has a pretty graphic performance and a kind of soulfulness inherent in our northern neighbors. They know how to create a warm tube indyatinu.
The main minus of the game - twenty bucks for participating in the test. It's not a survival simulator in Los Santos. Yes, and a third No Man's Sky online game, too, does not pull the study of the bottom and a few shreds of land.
The Raft game will leave for early access on May 23, 2018. The date of the normal release is even approximately unknown. By the way, a free prototype, which can be called a demo, has not disappeared anywhere.
